Signal Public Safety Is Operated by Signal Public Safety, LLC.
Signal Public Safety is the product and service brand operated by Signal Public Safety, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. References to "Signal," "Signal Public Safety," "we," "us," or "our" in public website materials mean Signal Public Safety, LLC unless a signed customer agreement says otherwise.
Public website content is informational. Customer subscriptions, pilots, professional services, support duties, data processing terms, service commitments, and pricing are governed by the applicable signed order form, master services agreement, business associate agreement, data processing agreement, or other written customer agreement.

Privacy, Terms, Security, and Customer Paperwork Work Together.
- Privacy Policy: public-site data, product data, privacy rights, SMS opt-out, HIPAA business-associate posture, and legal-request handling.
- Terms and Conditions: public website use, demo access, authorized accounts, public-safety workflow boundaries, acceptable use, and default Ohio law.
- Trust: technical security posture, tenant boundaries, monitoring, backups, and operational hardening.
- Customer agreements: signed commercial and data-protection terms control where they conflict with public website language.
Regulated Data
Compliance Posture Without Pretending the Public Site Is a Clinical System.
Signal products are built for public-safety agencies, EMS programs, fire departments, instructors, and administrators. Some customer workflows may involve protected health information, personnel data, training records, incident context, or other regulated information. Public demo forms and ordinary email are not secure intake channels for regulated operational records.
Where a covered entity or business-associate customer uses Signal in a way that creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information, Signal handles that PHI under the applicable Business Associate Agreement and customer instructions. Where GDPR, California privacy law, or other privacy law applies, Signal supports verified requests, data minimization, purpose limits, appropriate service-provider restrictions, and legally required notices.
Signal is not a dispatch authority, healthcare provider, medical director, legal advisor, or system of record unless a written customer agreement expressly says so. Agencies remain responsible for required primary systems, standard operating procedures, medical direction, reporting obligations, and records-retention duties.
Legal Requests
Valid Process, Narrow Scope, and Customer Notice When Allowed.
Legal, law-enforcement, regulatory, or emergency requests should identify the requesting authority, legal basis, affected customer or user, requested records, timeframe, and return contact. We review requests for facial validity, require appropriate process where law requires it, narrow overbroad requests when possible, and preserve or disclose only what is required.
When legally allowed and operationally appropriate, we notify the affected customer before disclosing customer-controlled data. We may delay or withhold notice if prohibited by law, if notice would create a safety risk, or if the request involves a credible emergency.
