Security That Departments Can Ask About.

The Connected Suite handles operational and, in some products, sensitive patient information. Access and data handling matter as much as the screen crews see.

Access Follows the Agency.

Department membership and assigned roles determine what a user can reach. Shared sign-in connects the products while each product enforces its own access rules.

Privileged account and organization actions are recorded for review.

Sensitive Data Has Its Own Boundaries.

Public site traffic uses HTTPS. Sensitive fields in products such as Comms and Reports use application-layer encryption for stored data.

CPUTrack patient notes stay in the care workflow; leaders see aggregate program measures instead of those notes. We can discuss product-specific data flow and retention during technical review.

Protected and Recoverable.

Department data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the United States on a HIPAA-eligible cloud platform under a business associate agreement. Systems are monitored around the clock, and backups are tested by restoring them. Department IT and legal teams can request our security and HIPAA summary at admin@signalpublicsafety.app.

Plan the Right Integration.

Signal Reports checks charts against NEMSIS and NERIS value sets. It does not submit to Ohio EMSIRS, NEMSIS, or NERIS today. We will map your department's submission requirements with you.

For WatchDesk, we review your county's CAD arrangement and confirm the integration path during onboarding.

Report a Security Concern.

Email admin@signalpublicsafety.app or use the contact form. Our security.txt lists the disclosure contact.

Include enough detail to reproduce the issue. Please do not access, modify, or retain department data while testing, and do not run disruptive or volumetric testing against production — real fire and EMS crews use these systems.

Good-faith reports get a human reply. We confirm receipt, investigate, and fix verified issues promptly; we will not pursue action against researchers acting in good faith within this scope.
